Terminal 2
There are numerous ecosystems present around the lake which offer a large diversity of remarkable species. In some areas there are categories such as fire (Epicéas, Douglas), oak, ash, hazel, alongside of water of the lake
Terminal 3
The lake is a favorite place for the colvert ducks and the sheaf hoopoe. This last category feed itself of small fishes and of insects. He is an excellent swimmer and diver.
Terminal 4
From the farm of Estrabols to the Pic de Nore (1211 m), the north versant of the Montagne Noire offers a variety and sight-seeing of forests mountain land, altitudes spaces and , agropastoral spaces .
Terminal 5
This waterfall, from the Linoubre, take its source in he water zones located 800 m, from the department of Tarn and of the Aude. This is a fresh water area , well oxygenated exempt of any pollution constituting a biology reserve favorable to the reproduction and to the development of the Truites.
Terminal 6
The village of Labrespy developed during the medieval time around a fortified house who was overlooking un tight pass between the Arnette valley to the east and the valley of Liboure to the west, where there where several communication ways. The name originates from the aubepines which were planted around the fields
Terminal 7
The church was previously known as Saint – Pierre d’Hautpoul and is still the center of the oldest parish of Mazamet which spread itself on the high areas of the Hautpoul.
Terminal 8
By the château and village of Hautpoul, run the Arnette river. The river was used from the immemorial time to activate the mills, such as the mills of Moulin Maurel, Moulin de l’Oule. An unproductive soil and the mountain structure do not favor agriculture;
Terminal 9
The chesnut are numerous along the Arnette river. These trees are lining up in stages from 250 to 500 meters. The geographer André DAVID mentioned in his book « Mazamet seems to be the center of a chestnut plantation».
Terminal 10
Hautpoul is one of the most important fortified sites of the Montagne Noire, composed du castrum who overlook the valley of the Arnette since more than 1000 ans and the mountain holding the church of Saint Sauveur around which were located a large number of habitats during siècles.
Terminal 11
Chestnut trees, hazel trees, ash trees, wild cherry, holly are the main forestry who form the biotope of the Becasse des Bois. This migratory, are called « mordorée »
Terminal 12
At this place where the human presence is important, the birds are taking the liberty to visit us. The red-gorge hold on a branch and with his piercing whistling make himself heard regularly.
