This waterfall, from the Linoubre, take its source in he water zones located 800 m, from the department of Tarn and of the Aude. This is a fresh water area , well oxygenated exempt of any pollution constituting a biology reserve favorable to the reproduction and to the development of the Truites. This fish characterized by his skin made of points red and black. Is located in middle mountain and is a good sign of the good quality of the water.

From October to march, the trout go up the Arnette river in order to reproduce themselves at the head of the basin. The lack of obstacle is called “ecologic continuity”
